Zunz Lecture Series
Join us and keynote speaker Romilly Madew at Zunz 2019 to discuss the opportunity and responsibility we have for getting infrastructure development right for future generations.
At Zunz 2019, we’ll put challenges aside and turn our focus to the opportunity and indeed responsibility we have for getting infrastructure development right for future generations. Discussing how the development of a comprehensive resilience strategy, careful prioritisation of investment and true multi-stakeholder collaboration can create a resilient and better future for our cities and their residents.
Keynote speaker, Romilly Madew AO, CEO Infrastructure Australia will draw on findings from the 2019 Australian Infrastructure Audit to give insights into the current infrastructure needs of the Australian community and industry and suggest the ways that Australia might build resilience into priority projects across major sectors of energy, transport, telecommunications, water, social infrastructure and waste.
An expert cross-industry panel will stretch and test thinking around ‘How, and on what projects?’ will resilience be factored into the assessment of infrastructure investment. They’ll also discuss who is involved in shifting the market – from investors, to insurers, policy makers, industry and the local community.
