In this revealing lecture, Professor Guo will present an overview of some hottest technologies being developed around the world, such as big data, 5G, and IoT, machine learning and exotic materials. In particular, he will discuss those promising ICT technologies that are poised to change the world in the next twenty years. These include future wireless communications and sensing, artificial intelligence and future computing. He will shed light on some potential philosophical, moral and societal implications these technologies may have. He will also introduce a number of major projects undertaken at the UTS Global Big Data Technologies Centre.
