COVID-19 has changed the way that people around the world live and learn. At UTS, we are continually monitoring and adapting to the situation to ensure the health and safety of our community, as well as the wider public.
Adapting for new opportunities
It is an extraordinary time we find ourselves in. As a faculty we have had to make some radical changes, just as most of us have had to do in our day-to-day lives. This shift has created a number of challenges but what we hope will be future opportunities too.
Alan Davison, Dean, UTS Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences
Within the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, our staff have worked tirelessly to transition classes to a remote model of learning. Students have also found new ways to connect, with virtual social events and mentoring groups. Our alumni have also shown great agility and creativity in the way they have adapted to working from home.
Read about the experience of our students and alumni as they have adapted to the ‘new normal’ and risen to unique challenges.
