The School of Computer Science is internationally recognised for its research, and as one of Australia’s most industry-focused teaching and learning program providers in the field of Computer Science, Information Technology (IT) and Information Systems.
We are placed within the top 100 universities worldwide for Computer Science and Information Systems (QS World University Rankings), and rated by the Australian Research Council as ‘World Standard’ (ERA 3) for research in the field of Information and Computer Sciences (08) in general, ‘Above World Standard’ (ERA 4) for research in Artificial Intelligence and Image Processing (0801), and ‘World Standard’ (ERA3) for research in Information Systems (0806).
