The UTS Union arranges a wide variety of events and entertainment on campus.
Around Campus
Library
The library offers a number of membership categories for associate members. Each category provides different levels of access to the collection, reference and additional services.
Community members engaged in personal research may also use the library as day visitors.
UTS: Gallery
The UTS: Gallery encourages UTS students, staff and the public to engage with visual art and design by providing a context for the enjoyment and wider understanding of contemporary practice. The gallery was established in 1995 as a not-for-profit gallery dedicated to exhibiting emerging and established arts practitioners.
UTS: Collection
The UTS: Collection comprises over 600 significant works of all sizes in a broad variety of styles and media. It includes an extensive selection of paintings, drawings, photographs, lithographs and etchings, bronze, wood and mixed media sculptures, textiles, ceramics, bark paintings and pukumani poles by Aboriginal artists.
UTS Union
The mission of the UTS Union is to enhance the quality of life and broaden the learning experiences of the UTS community. It does this by the provision of:
- a range of non-academic services and facilities
- social, cultural, recreational and sporting programs.
Shops, Food and Services - the UTS Union's commercially operated services provide you with value for money at reasonable prices. Enjoy life on campus while picking up what you need for your course and socialising over some eating or drinking.
Fitness Centre - operated by the UTS Union is open to the public as well as UTS student, staff and alumni.
Ariel UTS Function Centre - offers inspiring views, state-of-the-art facilities and the very latest in technology to create a space that is unlike any other. The centre can be tailored to suit your individual needs, whether you require an intimate meeting space for 20 or a large sweeping space for 400.
Kuring-gai Sports Centre
The Kuring-gai Sports Centre provides a range of facilities and classes to academic staff, students and the general public.
UTS Shopfront
UTS Shopfront is a University wide program that acts as a gateway for community access to the University. It links disadvantaged and under resourced community groups to University knowledge, skills, resources and professional expertise. This allows projects that would not otherwise proceed to be completed with multiple benefits for both the community and students.
