If you've experienced educational disadvantage, you can apply to enter UTS through the inpUTS educational access scheme. The scheme is open to both current and non-current school leavers who have high academic potential, have never studied at a tertiary level, and whose education has been disadvantaged over a long time by circumstances beyond their control. These disadvantages could be:
- disabilities
- serious illness
- disrupted education
- low income
- language difficulties
- serious family problems
- excessive family responsibilities
- lack of support for study
InpUTS applications are made through the Universities Admissions Centre (UAC) (opens an external site). You must provide full documentation of your circumstances.
Contact the Equity and Diversity Unit on (02) 9514 1084 for more information about inpUTS educational access schemes.
