Dean's Merit List Award

The Dean's Merit List is designed to recognise the outstanding performance of a small number of exceptional students.

Who is eligible?

Students awarded a place on the undergraduate Engineering Dean's List or the undergraduate IT Dean's List are eligible for this award.

Course area(s)

Information Technology, Engineering

Selection process

The Dean's Merit List will typically comprise the top 10 students from the undergraduate Engineering Dean's List and the top 10 students from the undergraduate IT Dean's List, ranked by WAM over the previous calendar year. In the case where there is more than one student with a WAM equal to or very close to the cutoff, the Faculty may place a small number of additional students on the Dean's Merit List.

While the Dean's List will typically contain approximately one to two hundred students (undergraduates whose WAM>=85%), the Dean's Merit List is designed to recognise the outstanding performance of a small number of exceptional students.
