Publicly-funded homebirth consortium

The National Publicly-funded Homebirth Consortium is a network of the publicly-funded homebirth models of care in Australia.
UTS midwives and students attended the ACM conference in the Gold Coast in October 2015.
UTS: CMCFH is concerned at the findings of the National Inquiry into Children in Immigration Detention report, published recently by the Australian Human Rights Commission (AHRC).
UTS staff have carried out the first study in Australia examining the obstetric outcomes of women with Female Genital Mutilation (FGM) and its impact on their babies
Midwifery academics, midwifery students, Masters and PhD students were well represented at the NSW Branch of the Australian College of Midwives Conference which was held in Sydney, in September 2015.
