The UTS Centre for Health Technology (CHT) is home to world-leading expertise in the development of medical devices and biotherapeutics research. We produce solutions-focused research that delivers real and lasting change to the health of the Australian community.
Research at CHT is divided into three main streams: medical devices, translational biotherapeutics and transcriptome research. Our projects are focused on health and disease processes; the development of new biomedical devices; and the detection, diagnosis and rehabilitation of a range of chronic diseases.
CHT researchers have extensive experience delivering industry-focused research solutions. We deliver tailored research packages for industry partners across the medical, biomedical and biotechnology sectors.
CHT is a unique environment for students seeking postgraduate qualifications. We are seeking students with a passion for science and engineering who are committed to using research to enhance health care outcomes.
