Research within the Centre for Real-time Information Networks (CRIN) is focused on the management and utilisation of real-time information, particularly within monitoring and control of real-world systems.
CRIN has a rich research student environment, and has a structured program to provide support for students in undertaking their research candidature – particularly early in their research. A seminar series and regular student discussion and support forums are a feature of the program.
Opportunities for both local and international exchanges are also possible. Individual supervisors are often able to provide opportunities, and a more structured exchange program is currently being discussed with Create-Net in Italy.

CRIN is keen to attract talented and motivated undergraduate capstone and masters project students to work on CRIN projects. Funding is available to selected students (in the form of scholarships for students and funds for equipment).
