UTS Distinguished Visiting Scholars Scheme

The UTS Distinguished Visiting Scholars (DVS) Scheme provides opportunity and support for esteemed international researchers to collaborate with UTS academics for a period of between one and six months.

Scholars appointed under the DVS Scheme will be provided with financial support up to AUD$10,000 (depending on the length of their visit) towards travel, accommodation and living expenses incurred during their stay. Remuneration will not be available to a DVS appointed under the scheme (remuneration includes any form of salary payment, stipend, honorarium, consultancy fee, etc).

Past DVS recipients

Since its inception in 2010, UTS has invited over 80 international researchers to collaborate on a host of activities including research collaboration, HDR supervision, mentoring of early career researchers, joint grant applications and delivery of public lectures and seminars.
