Professor Hollows watches a video screen donated to the Institute of Opthamology by visiting eye surgeons. Nepalese eye surgeon, Dr Sanduk Ruit, is performing cataract surgery using a teaching microscope, which allows doctors from the Institute to observe the techniques he is using to implant an inter-ocular lens. These operations are taped and left at the hospital for teaching purposes. |
