Associate Professor Lyn Schaverien
Lyn Schaverien leads the development and teaching of innovative postgraduate e-learning subjects at UTS' Faculty of Education, in collaboration with the UTS Institute for Interactive Media and Learning. She is Vice-President and immediate Past President of the NSW Institute for Educational Research. As leading Chief Investigator of two recent Australian Research Council Linkage projects, Professor Schaverien has collaboratively pioneered ways of achieving spread, depth, sustainability and student and teacher ownership of e-learning approaches here in NSW. Before becoming a full-time academic Lyn forged a successful career as a primary/middle school teacher and primary principal.
