AusAID

Australia is working with the governments and people of developing countries to deliver aid where it is most needed and most effective.

The Australian Agency for International Development (AusAID) (opens an external site) manages the majority of Australia's aid programs, including academic development assistance and scholarship programs for developing countries.

Currently, there are two scholarships offered to outstanding international students from the partner developing countries (opens an external site), giving them an opportunity to come to Australia and study in the partner education institutions in the target study areas set by their home country’s government.

These two scholarships are the Australian Development Scholarships (ADS) and the Australian Leadership Award Scholarships (ALA).

UTS is proud to be a long time educational partner of AusAID. Our dedicated International Sponsored Students Team provides support and assistance to AusAID sponsored students while they are studying at UTS.
