Sponsored students team
Our sponsored students team is part of our International Relations and Services. We handle sponsored students' inquiries. We provide support and assistance to sponsored students from the time of arrival in Sydney until the end of the studies.
Our team arranges airport pick up and temporary accommodation for newly arrived AusAid sponsored students.
We coordinate the Introductory Academic Program (IAP). The IAP is designed to familiarise new students with our learning environment, teaching culture and the services and facilities UTS provides to make studying at UTS an enjoyable experience.
The IAP program provides opportunities for AusAID students to learn about the diversity of Australian culture and to visit some of Sydney's famous sights such as the Opera House, Darling Harbour, the Australian Indigenous Museum, the Art Gallery and the Blue Mountains. These tours are provided free of charge and are well received by all AusAid students.
