How to apply for the Visiting Research Students Program
Step 1:
In conjunction with your supervisor at your home university identify the field of research you wish to undertake as a visiting research student at UTS.
Step 2:
Find a supervisor(s): To identify suitable members of the academic staff you should refer to the relevant faculty/institute web site or refer to the find a supervisor database and/or the strengths description.
Step 3:
Once you find a suitable academic staff member(s) you should contact them and discuss your research interest. Once an academic has agreed to supervise you, they will need to fill out section 12 of your application form (see step 4).
NOTE: approval from a supervisor does not necessarily guarantee entry into the visiting research students program.

An academic adviser from your home institution and your proposed UTS supervisor will each need to complete sections of this form.
