Study Abroad program

Come to Sydney to study one or two semesters of your current degree at UTS.

Studying abroad at UTS allows you to join one of Australia's largest and most respected universities in the heart of its most spectacular city. With over 30,000 students from more than 115 countries, UTS provides a truly international experience.

Studying abroad can be one of the most rewarding experiences of your life, but it can also be challenging to organise. Discuss your study abroad plans with an advisor at your home institution before applying. Check that your home institution will allow you to transfer credit for subjects studied overseas.

Visiting Research Students Program

If you are a postgraduate research student, you may consider spending one or two semesters at UTS to work on your research or enrol in coursework as a study abroad student through the Visiting Research Students Program. This research opportunity is offered in all faculties provided academic supervision is available.

The Visiting Research Students Program is intended for students from overseas universities who wish to come to UTS to undertake research and/or coursework as part of their degree.

Enrolment at UTS in the Visiting Research Students Program will be for a minimum of one semester and not more than two semesters (or one academic year).

Visiting Research Students at UTS will be enrolled as non-award International students and be eligible to apply for a Student Visa prior to departure from their home country.
