The Faculty of Business is one of Australia's largest faculties and accounts for approximately 30 per cent of the UTS student population.
UTS Business courses are designed to prepare you for work in national and global business environments. Courses provide a solid foundation in key areas such as accounting, finance, economics, international business, management, marketing and emerging fields of study such as e-business.
Some of Australia's most distinguished business leaders personally shape the form and content of UTS business courses. Comprised of CEOs and Board members from some of Australia's most successful financial, IT, biotechnology, media and tourism companies, the Faculty's Executive Council ensures UTS courses are closely aligned with industry.
Lecturers are industry-experienced experts in their chosen field. Whether as academics or business professionals, they bring with them a wealth of business and/or consulting experience. Most hold doctorate qualifications and are published on a regular basis, as well as continuing to practice in the 'real world'.
UTS Business students are provided with a variety of opportunities to apply their business knowledge through case study analysis and group projects. Graduates are equipped with the skills necessary to adapt in today's fast-moving, fast-changing commercial world.
