Student Visa Application
International students coming to study in Australia must hold a valid visa, allowing them to undertake their study.
In most cases international students will need to obtain an Australian student visa.
You should commence your student visa application process as soon as you receive your letter of offer to study at UTS. The student visa application process varies depending on your passport country and proposed course of study, and in some cases can take a few months.
Arrival Detail Form
Advise UTS International of your travel details by completing the Arrival Details Form.
This ensures that a Welcome to UTS package is waiting for you at the University Airport Reception desk.
Transport and Accommodation
All students must arrange their own transport and accommodation for arrival in Sydney.
We strongly recommend that you book accommodation before you arrive. Assistance is available from the UTS Housing Service, and you can complete the online UTS Temporary Accommodation Booking Form.
University Airport Reception desk staff can help you find and book temporary accommodation and transport when you arrive.
