Notification to students
Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) will be assessed for each student at the end of each academic period, to determine eligibility for continued awards of aid. If a student is given a Financial Aid Warning he/she will be advised by email by the University.
A student will be notified by email if he/she has failed to meet the US Financial Aid SAP and of the relevant appeal processes. University of Technology, Sydney cannot waive the US Federal Financial Aid Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) requirement for any student to receive financial aid. However, if funding is suspended, an appeal procedure for verifiable extenuating or unforeseen circumstances is available.
