Book your IELTS test

Please read all the information below carefully before booking your test. 

Book and p​ay online

  • Please select your test date and module carefully. Transfers/cancellations will not be accepted if you select the wrong test date or module, unless you give more than five weeks' notice in which case you will incur a fee.
  • You will need a clear and legible scanned copy of your original valid passport.
  • The test costs A$330. You can pay using Credit/Debit card (Visa/Mastercard).
  • Payment must be made within 24 hours of booking your test; otherwise you will need to make another booking.
  • Once you have made payment your booking is complete

Note: Unless stated otherwise tests are 1 day tests with Writing/Reading/Listening in the morning and Speaking Tests conducted in the afternoon.

UK Visas and Immigration

On 20 February 2015, the UK government announced changes to English language tests for UK visa purposes (opens an external site). Under the new requirement, which came into effect on 6 April 2015, IELTS tests for UK visa applications can only be taken on specific dates at selected centres (opens an external site), excluding UTS.

Note: Test centres are not authorised to provide visa or immigration advice to candidates. All test takers are required to check with the relevant authority (UKVI, university, sponsor etc.) regarding their English language requirement.
