Information Technology is an exciting, challenging career where you can make a difference. Our undergraduate IT courses open doors for employment in diverse roles in every sector of the IT industry in countries around the globe.

UTS: Information Technology undergraduate courses are continually being updated to keep pace with technologies and industry trends. They are current, relevant and consistently the leading programs of their kind.

We offer industry placements of a minimum of nine months as part of the Diploma in Information Technology Professional Practice. These internships give you hands-on experience and provide you with the opportunity to work alongside IT professionals, develop your skills and build upon applied knowledge.

Domestic and international students

Bachelor of Information Technology Co-operative Scholarship 

This program is a three-year fast-tracked course as well as a Co-operative Scholarship sponsored by industry and valued at around $49,500. Designed with help from our industry sponsors, the program offers a business focus, allowing you to develop an understanding of both business practice and technical skills.

Bachelor of Computing Science (Honours)

Underpinned by the study of foundational mathematics, you’ll develop the ability to theorise, design, develop and apply computing and software for advanced programs that will drive tomorrow’s innovations in information technology.

Bachelor of Science in Games Development

Today’s games are large, sophisticated computer programs that often connect thousands of players through virtual worlds and consist of details 3D graphics, realistic physics and complex artificial intelligence. Learn how these elements combine through a practical, hands-on education in IT.

Bachelor of Science in Information Technology, Diploma in Information Technology Professional Practice

Develop skills in all aspects of computing and information technology to prepare you for a career in the industry, act as a pathway to honours, postgraduate study or a research career. Combined with the Diploma in IT Professional Practice, you will have a minimum of nine months’ work experience, graduating ahead of your peers with sought after work experience and industry skills.

Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Information Technology

This course provides the opportunity for students to develop research skills, and provides greater breadth and depth in a specific area of information technology by developing sound research methodology culminating in a research orientated-project in final year.
