Sport and Exercise courses equip students with the skills to find a rewarding role in virtually any aspect of the sports industry.
UTS offers two study areas; Human Movement that covers the 'science', or human performance area of sport and Exercise Management which focuses on the 'business' of sport, including the management of programs, venues and resources.
Both courses are closely linked and students can specialise in a number of areas:
- sports science
- sports management
- exercise rehabilitation
- strength and conditioning
- exercise physiology
- biomechanics.
The courses are designed to be flexible to accommodate student needs. In many cases your program within the degree can be tailored to suit your interests and goals.

UTS takes a practical teaching and learning approach. Undergraduate students are encouraged to apply their new knowledge in our well equipped physiology labs and while on professional internships.
