Master of Business Administration

MBA

The reasons people choose to do a Master of Business Administration (MBA) are as diverse as the MBA experience itself. It may be that you love what you do and are looking to progress or maybe you want to broaden your career opportunities or even change paths completely. The MBA can help you achieve all those things.

The MBA is a highly transportable and globally recognised qualification. It has a strong foundation in core subjects, which cover a broad spectrum of business areas, along with the flexibility to choose half of your MBA subjects from a vast range of electives.

Designed for busy professionals, the UTS Business School MBA offers evening classes, part-time and full-time modes of study to enable you to tailor your timetable to fit your needs. The MBA is two years full-time or four years part-time and allows a choice of specialisations across key business disciplines.

Who is the MBA for?

The UTS MBA is designed for professionals preparing themselves for managerial and strategic decision-making roles across all industries. You may have an undergraduate degree in any field. If you have extensive professional experience but no undergraduate degree you may be eligible for entry into the Graduate Certificate in Business Administration, which consists of the first four core subjects in the Master of Business Administration.

How this program works

The UTS MBA provides a solid managerial foundation based on 8 introductory core subjects across all key business disciplines. Students then complete the degree with a choice of a single major, two sub-majors or a sub-major and electives, totalling 8 additional subjects. If students have an undergraduate degree in Business or related fields, they may receive exemptions within core subjects for up to four subjects.
