Thesis Title: Judgments during Information Seeking: Enough information.

Thesis Topic: The overall focus of this doctoral research is to develop a deeper understanding of how, in an information-rich environment, policy workers assess whether they have enough information to complete the task at hand. Taking a qualitative approach, the research also explores the influences – individual, work-related, organisational and environmental – that shape the ways in which workers make that assessment of enough information . Research findings will add to our understanding of information behaviour in general and will specifically expand our knowledge of what is happening at this stage of the information seeking process.
