Ass. Prof. Paul Hager

Paul Hager has published books and research papers on philosophy of adult education and vocational education and training, on workplace learning, on critical thinking and on professional competence.
Current teaching includes postgraduate courses in the above topic areas and supervising research degrees in the same areas.
Paul Hager is currently writing a book on informal learning (with Dr David Beckett, University of Melbourne). Current research projects include an ARC-funded study of the role of generic competencies in workplace reform in the building and construction industry, and an investigation of work-based learning funded by UTS.
