Professor of Adult Education and Associate Dean (Research), Faculty of Education, UTS
Professor Boud has been involved in research and teaching development in adult, higher and professional education for nearly 30 years and has contributed extensively to the literature. He has held the position of Head of the School of Adult and Language Education at UTS and prior to that he was Professor and Foundation Director of the Professional Development Centre at the University of New South Wales
Experience-based learning, Researching educational practice, Analysing professional practice. Supervision of research students in adult, higher and professional education.
Models of learning from experience, reflection and learning, innovations in teaching and learning in adult and higher education (including problem-based learning, experience-based learning, negotiated learning approaches, work-based learning, reciprocal peer learning), self-assessment and appraisal.
