Composing and Sending Messages

To send a message, use the Compose button.  A blank message appears in a new composition window.

Recipients

The recipient of the message is specified with To. A single message can be sent to more than one person by entering mutliple To addresses seperated by commas. This also works with CC and BCC explained below.

In the composition window type in the email address for the recipient of the email in the To field. Alternatively, click the Address Book Card [icon] to use a previously stored address.

Messages can be sent to related parties (like office memos) by specifying addresses as Cc (carbon-copy) or Bcc (blind-carbon-copy).  Type the email address beside Add Recipient and click either To, Cc or Bcc. Bcc recipients will not be displayed to other recipients of the message.
