Deleting Mail

You can - and should - discard messages you do not want to keep. You can delete messages as you are reading them, or straight from a mail folder. Click the Delete button to delete the message you are viewing.

Messages you delete are transferred into the Trash folder. You can get a message back from the Trash anytime until it is emptied. To do this you will need to go to the Trash folder, select the message(s), and move them out of the Trash folder.

By default, your Trash folder is not emptied until you choose to do so. You can have Webmail automatically empty your Trash folder by when you Logout by selecting "Empty folder on logout" from Options / Settings.  You should make a point of emptying the Trash regularly to free up disk space - particularly since there is a disk space quota restriction in place.

To delete multiple messages in a folder at once, put a check mark beside the messages you wish to delete.

Alternatively, click Delete or pull down the Move message to folder: button and select the Trash folder from the list.
