Indigenous Women's Network

Approximately 75% of all Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander staff employed at UTS are women. In order to support Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander women, the Indigenous Women's Network has been re-established and receive executive support from the Equity & Diversity Unit.

The aim of the Indigenous Women's Network is to provide a safe and culturally sensitive environment in which members are able to come together to initiate activities which support their mental, emotional and physical well-being.   In addition, the Network provides an opportunity for sharing of ideas and information that enables Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander women to access specific career and professional development opportunities initiated for women at UTS.
