Networks and Community
The Equity & Diversity Unit coordinates a range of equity-related networks, committees and consultative groups, and encourages the participation of equity target group members in governance and decision-making bodies at UTS.
Equity committees include:
the Equity Reference Group
the Accessible Environments Advisory Group
the Disability Action Plan Committee
In addition, the Equity & Diversity Unit supports a number of equity consultative groups that aim to ensure that staff and students have opportunities to participate in the development of equity programs and policies, priority setting, and the identification of equity issues that need to be addressed. Currently these include:

the Reconciliation Working Party
Equity networks provide opportunities for members of equity target groups to share information, issues and concerns in a supportive environment, including:
the Indigenous Staff Network
the Indigenous Women's Network.
