Our programs
Faculty-specific programs
The ELSSA Centre collaborates with faculties to develop your academic language through integrating academic language and learning with subjects and degree programs.
Academic language workshops
The ELSSA Centre runs (non-credit) workshops throughout the academic year to help you improve your academic writing, speaking, reading and listening skills.
Individual consultations
We provide two types of individual consultation services: drop-in consultation sessions of 15 min, and individual consultations of 40 min or 1 hour by appointment only.
Postgraduate research workshops
The ELSSA Centre provides workshops and individual consultations to help (masters and doctorate) research students start, progress through, and complete their theses.
Special Conditions in exams
The university permits students from non-English speaking backgrounds (NESB) to use an English dictionary, and to have extra time in exams. All applications must be approved by the ELSSA Centre.

An interactive website on what plagiarism is, and how you can avoid it.
Learning resources
