Buddies

Meet with one or more international students weekly to help them build their confidence through conversation.

Please complete the HELPS Volunteer application form to be emailed more information. To access the form you must be signed into your UTS account via Google.

Peer Advisors

Help students who come to ask us advice on how to improve their assignments.

Share your ideas on how you research, plan and draft assignments.

Conversation Leaders

Facilitate casual conversation with groups of international students to help them build their confidence, meet friends and improve their skills.

‘It’s very enjoyable watching students improve and become more confident.  It’s also a great way to learn more about a very wide variety of different cultures and languages.’
