Community and leadership programs

UTS Shopfront

The UTS Shopfront aims to build strong and sustainable communities by providing capacity development for community based organisations, supporting community engaged scholarship, and facilitating UTS students to develop skills in community leadership.

This is achieved through Shopfront's three program areas – the award winning Student Community Coursework Projects, which pairs coursework students with community based organisations to deliver community driven outcomes;  the UTS SOUL Award – a volunteering and leadership program for students across all faculties, and Gateways, Shopfront's international, peer reviewed journal of community engagement.

If you're a student, academic, or community based organisation looking for volunteers, we'd be interested to hear from you! Follow the links on the left to more detailed information on each of our programs.
