Clinical Placement compliance
Visit Graduate School of Health Clinical Placements for more information and to complete all requirements on the Graduate School of Health Clinical Compliance Checklist.
It is IMPORTANT to begin the compliance process as soon as you receive your offer. As it may take several months to complete NSW Health requirements, including the full course of vaccinations to achieve immunity.
These requirements must be completed before your first clinical placement, as you will be unable to attend clinical placement without full compliance.
Inherent requirements
Inherent Requirements are academic and non-academic requirements that are inherent in or essential to the successful completion of a course.
It is a course requirement that students complete a number of clinical placements. Clinical placements involve a student going into a clinical setting to undertake the practical components of the course required for registration.
If a student has a condition or disability that prevents them from completing a placement, completion of the degree may be hindered.
Students should consult the full inherent requirements:
AHPRA Registration (Clinical Psychology only)
Prepare the paperwork required for provisional registration with AHPRA Psychology Board of Australia.
It is recommended to wait until Professional Skills Week to submit your application, when the Graduate School of Health will provide further instructions and a confirmation of enrolment letter directly to AHPRA (after all students have completed their enrolment).
