So it's nearing the end of our mid-year break, it didn't seem quite long enough but it will be good to get back into it. This semester I'm only taking 3 subjects, two for my science degree and one for International Studies. One is a psychology subject which should be fairly interesting, I'm looking forward to it. I've recently moved into the UTS residences which has made life so much easier. No more long train travel everyday, the extra time I'm going to have is going to be awesome. I'm sharing with 6 other people but I was really lucky with my room, I got a fairly big room compared to other people and I only have to share my bathroom with a couple of girls. Had a picnic in Hyde Park today which was really good, the weather is just starting to get nice again, really excited about Spring coming up :) Then I went shopping in Paddington with a few friends, it was nice to have a day off from work, I've been super busy the last few weeks.

Just a short one to update, lots more to say once classes start on Monday!

My name is Rebecca, I’m currently a 2nd year B. Medical Science/B. Arts in International Studies (Switzerland Major). I find it so great to be doing a combined degree in International Studies because I get to pursue my love of languages as well as doing my Science degree! In 2009, I get to travel to Switzerland to do my In-Country study which should be a very exciting and educational experience, I really can’t wait! I’m studying French as a part of my degree which is a subject I’ve never studied before and so although it can be difficult, I’m really enjoying doing something new.

I’m interested in languages, reading, music, and many other student interests! I’ve kept blogs before, however it has been many years so hopefully I can get back into it and keep everyone entertained on here.
