UTS also has a range of services including:

  • The Library offers a number of membership categories for associate members. Each category provides different levels of access to the collection, reference and additional services.

    Community members engaged in personal research may also use the Library as day visitors.

  • UTS Housing Service assists students to find a suitable place to live.

    Landlords can register their property on the Housing Service listing service for students looking for private accommodation, for long term (greater than four months) or short term (less than four months).

  • UTS Child Care has three centres, two at Broadway, and one at Kuring-gai. The centres are operated as non-profit services managed by a Board primarily comprising of parent users of the centres. Overall policies ensure all child care services at UTS are of high quality and meet the needs of members of the University community, although some differences exist in the way each centre operates.

  • UTS Health Service provides a range of general practice medical services to UTS students, staff and general public. The main purpose of the Health Service is to provide optimal health care and health information to ensure good health so that students can maximise their chances of academic success.

  • Traditional Chinese Medicine Clinics are operated by the Faculty of Science, they offer Chinese herbal services to the community through the:

    • Acupuncture and Chinese Remedial Massage (Tuina) Clinic

    These clinics also play a major role in the clinical education of Traditional Chinese Medicine practitioners and students.

  • 2SER community radio that seeks to provide innovative, diverse and horizon broadening radio.

  • Australasian Legal Information Institute (opens an external site) (AustLII) provides free access to Australasian legal material via the Internet, and is part of the worldwide network of Legal Information Institutes participating in the free access to law movement. AustLII is jointly operated by UTS and UNSW's Faculties of Law.
