UTS Business School is home to the world-leading Centre for Health Economics Research and Evaluation (CHERE), the Centre for Policy and Market Design (CPMD), along with the soon to be launched Centre for Business and Social Innovation (CBSI) and Centre for Business Intelligence and Data Analytics (BIDA). Other important research themes include financial markets and information, and quantitative finance.
Projects covered in the report include research looking at disability entrepreneurship in Australia; social stock exchanges; corporate board behaviour; the impact of social interactions on investors, asset prices and portfolio management; and the impact of the Medicare safety net on moral hazard, equity and welfare. Research partners include Mercedes-Benz (Marketing) and the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (Finance).
UTS Business School is a leader in business research in Australia. In the latest official Excellence in Research for Australia (ERA) assessment, it was third equal in Australia across Economics and Commerce & Management.
