The UTS Library and Haymarket campus are only five minutes walk from the Tower building. This is where you go to study business and law courses. Insearch students study at the Prince Centre just up the street from the Haymarket campus.
The UTS Library clock tower stands on the corner of Quay Street and Ultimo Road, in the middle of downtown Haymarket. The Library and faculty buildings are housed in renovated heritage market buildings. There is also a sidewalk café and leafy courtyards where students hang out, relax and study.
Haymarket is a colourful and multicultural part of Sydney. Across the road from campus is the Market City complex, and nearby are China Town, the Entertainment Centre and Darling Harbour.
The streets are full of locals, tourists, students and business people. Delicious smells waft on the air from a vast array of Asian restaurants, eateries and inexpensive food halls. The famous Paddy's Market, corner shops selling Asian groceries, the new Market City shopping centre and Reading cinema, and cosmopolitan George Street make Haymarket a vibrant place to study.
