Legal Futures and Technology

A first in Australia, the UTS Law is pleased to announce a brand new specialist major in the standalone Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Laws combined degrees, commencing in 2018. Legal Futures and Technology will equip students with the requisite knowledge and skills as future legal practitioners and professionals amongst rapid developments in technology, innovation and work.

Navigate the 4th Industrial Revolution

UTS Law Future of the Legal Profession keynote address, Tom Daemen, Director and Assistant General Counsel for Microsoft’s Corporate, External & Legal Affairs in Australia and New Zealand, will examine the journey of the Fourth Industrial Revolution currently underway and explore its impact on our global society.
UTS is establishing a new interdisciplinary research centre, the Centre for Media Transition. The centre will be formally launched at an event at UTS on 25 July 2017, with Professor Jeff Jarvis delivering the keynote address.
