This week is National Diabetes Week and with over 600 diabetic patients on their books and an estimated many more people in the community undiagnosed the team at the Forbes Medical Centre is helping to raise awareness and provide comprehensive treatment and advice about the disease.
On May 12th the Faculty of Health, UTS celebrated International Nurses and Midwives Day and the invaluable contribution that staff makes to the health of society.
Of the thirteen total UTS Learning and Teaching Citations and three UTS Learning and Teaching Awards awarded on the evening, academic staff from the Faculty of Health were presented with two citations and one award.
For the first time, UTS was a partner in the development the State of the World’s Midwifery Report (SoWMy), launched at the Congress of the International Confederation of Midwives (ICM) in Prague on June 3, 2014.
