All our engineering undergraduate courses have a practical and industry focus. At UTS you will learn the technical theory as well as soft skills such as communication and teamwork. Students also have the opportunity to undertake two six month internships as part of their course - more than the mandatory 12 weeks required by Engineers Australia. This real-world experience combined with your theoretical knowledge will set you up to be "work-ready" once you graduate.
Come along to our Undergraduate Courses and Scholarships Info Evening and hear from our academic staff, students and graduates about the different course options, various majors on offer and career opportunities.
UTS Engineering also offers a number of industry sponsored scholarships. You can find out about our undergraduate scholarships and how to apply for these on the night.
You will be able to experience our new Engineering and IT building with state-of-the-art teaching spaces, cutting-edge environmental features and collaborative student spaces, first-hand. Our new faculty home features:
- dedicated collaborative learning spaces for students
- a software development studio
- UTS Data Arena - a 3D data visualisation arena showcasing the latest immersive technology.
We will have refreshments, displays to view, and staff and students to speak to from 5.30pm and then a formal presentation at 6pm. There will also be an opportunity to speak informally to staff and students after the event as well.
