Having recently relocated to Australia from Mexico, UTS Master of Architecture student Víctor Alejandro Martínez Contreras, is making a name for himself in the industry after receiving the 2015 Digital Innovation in Architecture Prize.
The Architextile project aims to use textiles to build an interactive, self-sustaining, waterproof shelter. Conceived for natural disaster relief, war zones and commercial applications, the shelter positions new technologies in textiles and architecture through analogue and digital design.
