The Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences places high value on our academic, creative and professional courses, on creativity, problem solving and research skills, and on social advocacy, community service and contribution to public debates, it has:
- a three school structure including: the School of Communication, the School of Education, and the School of International Studies;
- approximately 6000 students, studying undergraduate, postgraduate and higher research degrees;
- approximately 180 academic and professional support staff, many with national and international reputations in creative and professional fields such as writing, film making, new media, journalism, advertising, public relations, information and media, cultural studies, teacher education, adult education and international studies; and
- a number of research centres.
