Racism Stops at UTS: Ensuring safety and respect on campus.

Racism. It stops at UTS. Let's ensure safety and respect on campus. 

Join our Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, UTS Equity & Diversity, The UTS Students' Association, UTSMS - UTS Muslim Society and the rest of the UTS: University of Technology Sydney on Monday 14th August 12pm-1.30pm for a panel aimed to challenge racism and Islamophobia. 

This forum features the following prominent keynote speakers:

  • Dr Tim Soutphommasane – Race Discrimination Commissioner, Australian Human Rights Commission
  • Mariam Veiszadeh - Lawyer, Diversity and Inclusion Consultant and Community Advocate 

This will be followed by a panel discussion facilitated by Dr. Saba Bebawi, Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences and there will be an opportunity for staff and students to ask questions and contribute ideas.
