Based on the 2010 Australian Graduate Survey (AGS) which surveyed October 2009 and April 2010 graduates three months after completion:
- 79% of the UTS Australian-resident graduates were in full-time or part-time employment three months after completing their study.
- The average salary of UTS Australian-resident first degree graduates who were in full-time employment was $53,080 while the average salary of graduates of UTS postgraduate programs in full-time employment was $80,855.
- Employment rates of UTS Australian-resident first degree graduates were highest for Faculties of Business and Law, while employment rates of postgraduates were highest for Faculties of Nursing, Midwifery & Health and Law.
- The number of UTS Australian-resident graduates engaged in further study after completion remained steady with 3% of Postgraduate degree graduates and 13% of first degree graduates who responded to the graduate survey indicating they are in full-time study in
