- Located at Ultimo in the southern edge of the Sydney CBD, the city campus of UTS is the location of almost 26,000 students. A smaller campus is located at Lindfield on Sydney's North Shore (the Kuring-gai campus). UTS also has over 1,900 students enrolled in off-shore partner institutions.
- The two largest faculties in 2007 were Business and Engineering.
- In 2007, UTS had over 21,600 students enrolled in its undergraduate, enabling and non-award courses, with an additional 9,200 students enrolled in graduate coursework courses and 1,276 research students.
- In 2007, over 8,100 international students were enrolled in UTS on-shore and off-shore courses.
