- Located at Ultimo in the southern edge of the Sydney CBD, the city campus of UTS is the location of 27,963 students. A smaller campus is located at Lindfield on Sydney's North Shore (the Kuring-gai campus) with approximately 3,632 students. UTS also has 675 students enrolled in off-shore partner institutions.
- The two largest faculties in 2011 were Business and Engineering and Information Technology
- In 2011, UTS had over 23,000 students enrolled in its undergraduate, enabling and non-award courses, with an additional 11,331 students enrolled in graduate coursework courses and 1,245 research students.
