Terms of Reference

  1. To determine the criteria, covering Teaching and Learning, Research and Industry Engagement dimensions, for evaluating the current UTS academic profile
  2. To identify the relatively lower performing areas of the academic profile against the determined criteria
  3. To recommend areas and/or disciplines for potential discontinuation, to be subjected to comparative evaluation against the new opportunities for courses and disciplines identified through the parallel review process

Membership

  • Senior Deputy Vice-Chancellor and Senior Vice-President - Convenor
  • Deputy Vice-Chancellor and Vice-President (Teaching, Learning and Equity)
  • Deputy Vice-Chancellor and Vice-President (Research)
  • A Dean (selected by the Senior Deputy Vice-Chancellor after consultation with the Academic Management Committee)
  • A member of the professoriate from Academic Board (selected by the Senior Deputy Vice-Chancellor and should be from a different faculty to the Dean)
