- achieving significant synergies and efficiencies in human resource management, information technology, risk and assurance, and marketing and communication
- providing the most appropriate and effective infrastructure and service delivery methodologies to support the University's objectives within her area of responsibility
- leading change management at an organisation level
- identifying and developing organisation capabilities
- shaping and influencing culture, particularly in relation to the UTS brand and creating an inspiring place to work
- oversight for risk management and provision of internal audit services
