The UTS Academic Board is the principal advisory body to the UTS Council on academic matters.
Academic Board is concerned with policy development as it relates to the University's academic programs in education, scholarship and research, and community service. It refers policy recommendations to Council and discusses matters referred to it by Council.
Academic Board plays a key role in the UTS community in providing a forum for the discussion and debate of the academic directions of the University as well as the quality of its academic programs.
Academic Board is led by an elected Chair and Deputy Chair and has a membership of ex-officio positions (representing senior staff of the University), associate deans nominated by each faculty, academic staff and students elected from each faculty plus an elected postgraduate research student.
